CSA Summer Farmhands
The CSA is a big undertaking: first we gotta successfully grow the food for ya, and then we have to get it skillfully harvested, washed, sorted, prepped, weighed, bagged, counted, boxed, chilled, loaded, and delivered! The Bullock family can’t do it alone. A team of four people pull it all together each week and this year’s crew is top notch!
We asked our crew to help us with a little “get to know ya” and we got colorful, playful, life-filled responses. These are the incredible humans behind your weekly box of veggies.
Your farm crew, growin food for you!
Bri — Okra Queen: Farm D.J., tough as nails, up for anything, even the stinky- sweaty stuff! She always brings the fun.
Alison — Delivery Dama and Market Mama: Our natural-livin’ lady. She brings the best lunches. She’s our primary Thursday delivery gal and often serves you at the White Rock Farmers Market alongside her beau, Mike. And he’s also a super nice dude, who’s been pitchin’ in some weekends.
Jordyn — The Joyful Harvestyr: Never a harsh word, with a contagious positivity. Usually working harvest and packing. Her attention and care for the task brings so much to the team. Great for her-sad for us: She will be returning to full-time teaching soon.
Taylor — Tio Taylor: Community builder, mover and shaker. He won’t be with us a whole lot longer as he’s got big dreams he’s working towards. Watch this space, cause whatever he does next, it’ll be making a difference for his neighbors in need, (and inspiring you to join in.)
